Muslin

Today I will tell you about the air base of the spring collection of dresses. This is a comfortable and safe material, from which bed linen and children's clothes are often sewn.⠀

Muslin first appeared in Iraq at the end of the 16th century. The breathable and sun-protective fabric quickly spread across the hot countries of the Middle East. And already in the 18th century, it was used to sew dresses for European fashionistas. ⠀

Today, muslin is known around the world as a lightweight material made of fine twisted threads of natural raw materials: cotton, silk or wool. In the case of a new collection, it's cotton.⠀

Muslin-a material woven only from the merits:⠀

  • Durable and wear-resistant.⠀
  • Breathable. It is comfortable in hot weather.⠀
  • Absorbs moisture.⠀
  • Protects the skin from UV rays.⠀
  • Dries quickly and does not form pellets.⠀
  • Hypoallergenic and eco-friendly.⠀

Muslin loves a reverent attitude to itself: only gentle washing in cold water without the use of chemical stain removers and bleach. It is not at all friendly with iron and prefers dry cleaning.⠀

But all these nuances are worth it to get acquainted with this amazing material. In a muslin outfit, you will not go unnoticed. The fabric looks stylish and unusual. And from washing to washing, muslin only "reveals" its nobility more deeply. ⠀
